This Sunday! Mark your Calendars and prep your Quicktime Players, The SpokenWorld Show is back! Secretly being tested in various forms and incantations, I am ready once again to play the spoken word from the "fair sized" collection of CD's in my drawer. Ok, here's the skinny- The url of the broadcast will be rtsp://65.103.193.252/spokenworldlive.sd p If you hit it now you will get a 404 message The Live show web page will be http://www.spokenworld.com/liveshowhome.htmlI'll kick off at about 9PM AZ Time (8PM Pac/9P Mountain/10P Central/11P East) and go for an hour. After the show, it will be available as a podcast and streaming link as soon and I can get it uploaded after the show is over. I'll be on AOL Instant Messenger (spokenworld), and it will "speak" messages on the air as they come in, assuming I have the volume turned up :). The phone number (480) 461-8200 will also be live and on the air. There will also be a java chat room for you to chat with each other in while you listen to the show. I am working on a playlist at the moment, so if you have a suggestion, please feel free to post it to the Anthology Forum for the show: http://forumanthology.proboards103.com/index.cgi?board=requestsIf you are coming through Mesa sometime and want to schedule an on air visit, also let me know (on the Anthology Forum). If you'd like me to call you and chat on the phone on the air- ok, sure- send me your phone number by email bob@anthology.org. The only feature that will not be working Sunday, at least as of now, is the webcam- but I am working on it. One thing our testing has found is that RealAudio's player seems to not like the Live stream, so make sure you use the Quicktime player, available free at Apple.com. Everything is free, and there is a tip jar on the page if you care to throw something in to help pay for bandwidth and such. That's it at the moment, so make sure you check the Anthology Forums for more details and get your submissions in, which reminds me, if you want to send me an MP3 of your work and would like it played, send it to me, and I'll listen to it and get back to you.Obviously, if I get alot of stuff, some may have to wait until another show...
